We offer training programs to equip you with the skills and hands-on experience you need to obtain your license in the following specialties.

Hands-On Experience

We provide a well-rounded education that combines theory with practical application. Our 4,200 sq ft facility contains a fully equipped salon for student labs. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, you'll gain hands-on experience providing service to the public. This practical training is crucial for building your confidence and polishing your skills. You'll have the opportunity to work with real clients, allowing you to apply what you learn in the classroom!

Contact Our Admissions Office

PRE-ENROLLMENT PROCESS

  • Gather all your pre-enrollment documents.

  • Schedule an Intake Interview with Admissions.

  • Review payment plans & available financial assistance options.

  • Sign an Enrollment Agreement.

  • Pay Registration Fee of $150.00

  • Down-Payment (includes 

books & supply Kit).

  • Attend Orientation.

Pre-Enrollment documents to bring with you:

All applicants must be 16 years of age or older to apply.

Please bring the items listed below:

  • High School Diploma: GED, proof of homeschooling, or postsecondary transcript also acceptable. (*Note: High school diplomas issued in a foreign language must be translated to English by a qualified third party agency). If you don't have a high school diploma or equivalency, NO PROBLEM! We can administer an Ability to Benefit (ATB) assessment.

  • A valid Driver's license: State-issued photo ID, School-issued ID, or Passport also acceptable.

  • Social Security number: TIN also acceptable.

Financial Assistance

Charr-Nix's New Generation School of Beauty is a licensed "non-accredited" postsecondary school. Currently we do not participate in Title IV funding and do not offer federally funded financial aid and grants at this time. However, we are committed to ensuring education remains accessible and affordable to all students who meet our enrollment requirements. We offer great in-house financial solutions as alternatives to financial aid, to help reduce tuition costs and help students manage their educational expenses.

Alternative Financial Solutions

  1. In-House Financing: We offer interest-free financing and payment plans that allow you to spread out your tuition payments over the duration of your program into weekly installments as low as $125 a week.

  2. Scholarships: We offer scholarships to help reduce the overall cost of tuition for students who meet the eligibility requirements.

  3. Early Payment Discounts: We offer discounted tuition to students who pay-in-full up front.

  4. ​​Private Loans: Students have the option to apply to private lenders who offer favorable interest rates and terms to students.

 

We are here to ease the financial burden for those who have limited resources. And we are committed to supporting those who desire to pursue their dreams.

NEW GENERATION

OF ASPIRING BEAUTY PROFESSIONALS

Preparing you for the

Florida State Board Licensing Examination

Our curriculum is designed to properly equip you with all the essential knowledge and skills you need to pass the state board exam. Upon the completion of our program, you will be eligible to register for your license by examination. The school will compile and submit all necessary documentation to initiate the registration process with the Department of Professional Business Regulations (DPBR).  Passing the exam is a requisite to obtaining your License. Based on Florida Law, no one is permitted to practice cosmetology, barbering, facial specialty, or nail specialty without a valid license. 

Job Placement and Career Development

Our commitment to your success goes beyond greeting you farewell after graduation. We are here to assist your transition into the workforce. We offer job placement and career development services for graduates which include resume building, interview preparation, local job fairs, and networking with local salons and shops.  Although we're not able to promise or guarantee employment, we are here to support you every step of the way!
